I love redheads. I grew up with I love Lucy and if that show had been in color, I would've realized my fetish for red heads earlier. Instead, it sneaked up on me, like the old adage 'You never forget your first love'.
When Suddenly Susan began it's run on network TV, I had nothing better to do but tune in to watch it. School was too boring and reading text books was usually done at night to cure my insomnia. Smart, eh? I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life anyway. I couldn't stand being around lots of people. I still feel like that, but now, instead of being near people who're a constant reminder of the 'been there, done that' mentality, I keep to myself.
My favorite redhead is Kathy Griffin, but she wasn't always my favorite. Back when she was in Suddenly Susan, she did nothing for me. Something between then and now changed her. Before, she was just another co-star. Now she's a one-eyed pirate with a flair for teaching parrots to talk. Her show Kathy Griffin: My life on the D-list runs amuck with bleeps and beeps when she accidently lets one of her more colorful adjectives heard. It's almost like reliving my days from k-12 when every other word was "fuck". For somebody who rarely got laid back in those days, the use of that word was abusive in itself. Now it's different.
We live in a society where people have to choose who they talk loosely with, and words we all loved to use in high school are received negatively by strangers. Kathy, however, seems to feel a rapport with everyone she meets. If it only took fifty years for comedy to change as it has amongst redheads, I want to live long enough to see what happens another fifty years from now. If Kathy's fame continues to escalate, she will destroy catholicism as we know it and we'll all be pronouncing it CAT•holic with a subconscious tribute to Bastet.

Also, does anyone have the script for the cock skit? I know I've seen it (maybe on here), and I recall it being an image file instead of text, which was a bit odd. Thanks to anyone who can help out!
Now let's start petitioning for a DVD release of "You Wrote It, You Watch It".

Hi friends!
Just an FYI to all the zinesters in my life who also create other forms of art, that the information for submitting work to the exhibit running alongside the Richmond Zine Fest is up on our website: http://www.richmondzinefest.org
A gallery full for an entire month with art ONLY by zinesters! Pretty damn cool!

Over the weekend I went to the Cupcake Camp convention in which I won. Kent was really happy for me and wanted leftovers the next working day which of course I didn't have, however, promised that he would have first dibs on my latest cupcake invention which is bacon cupcakes. Not all of these cupcakes had visible tags, therefore, if anyone is reading this who was at the convention and recognizes their work, please let me know and will tag you in this entry. Of course these are a few entries not all of them, just whatever I could fit onto memory card.
I ate so many cupcakes, 24 that before the end of the day, I had to vomit and woke up the next morning still feeling as though I was in a sugar coma. No disrespect to anyone, however, that was a lot of cupcake consumption and to be honest, for a long time, don't want to see another cupcake.
French Toast with Bacon on top...yes that was a real piece of bacon.

Lemon Mirange.
Chocolate orange.
Mojito...My friend Amanada would just love this one.

I bought a few wallets from some store in Gastown on the way to the Cupcake Convention. Not sure the name of the store, however, they had a lot of Hello Kitty stuff. It used to be where Obsession used to be. One wallet is in the shape of a Pizza and the other a chocolate chip cookie. These were about $7 each I think.
… no signs of gunshot or stab wounds, but police were investigating the case as a homicide.
[snip]… Amanda Gatti, but she was not charged, the paper reported.
BOXER DEATH SHOCK - New York Post
I haven't seen a good fight for awhile. I wonder if boxing season is over. What. If NASCAR has a season, not to mention hockey, football, baseball, then surely there's a season for boxing. After all, boxing is a world recognized sport.
Just before bed, I caught the last part of the 11 o'clock eye witness news. The sports report explained the shocking death differently from Brazilian newspaper O Globo, and AP for that matter, showing footage of Amanda Rodriguez being apprehended for the murder. Huh? A bloody purse strap. I'm supposed to believe a champ boxer was murdered by a woman with only a purse strap? C'mon.

I think it's been about a year since the gold fish got put out into the great outdoors. I have a bad memory for these things. I do remember stressing over the heat of the summer that the fish was sure to battle AND then the cold of winter without a heater. So, I figure this is the second season that my pet goldfish, without a name, will enjoy living in the great outdoors. He (or she) reminds me of a dog by the way it gobbles up the koi pellets I feed it every morning. I only wish I had enough space in this little pond to buy another fish so it could enjoy some companionship. Maybe even reproduce. That would be great. In all the years that I had been catering to the upkeep of a 35 gallon aquarium, my fish only reproduced one time (as far as I know). These fish love eating their own kind and if one doesn't separate the fry from the adults, nobody would be the wiser as far as mating is concerned.
I love my fish.
I planted it either earlier this year, or late last year. What happened was, my father brought me a tea rose plant and I was going to plot it down right where you see this palm tree-like plant. I decided that there wasn't enough sunlight for the plant to thrive so I decided on another section of yard. Here is where I planted a tree that didn't seem to be doing so well in it's wooden barrel-like pot. I wasn't sure it would get any better, but it sure seems to like where it's at now. You can see in the background, against the wall, my att.net connection.- Mood:

Here's a picture of a bench I'm working on for the moat section of the backyard at work. It's a simple assembly that I copied from a picnic table set. If you look closely, you can see the table that the bench is resting on while I recharge my drill and pick up another screw attachment.
Don't you just hate when you make out a list of stuff to buy and it's so complex that, even as you stop to check that you have everything in your shopping basket, it never fails that you forgot to pick something up. I've been wanting to buy a stone succulent because they're just some funky looking plants, and I want it for my desk at work. Hah, I can't wait until Schulz makes some kind of sly remark about the way my plant looks when it blooms. Heh-heh.
By tomorrow, I figure this project will be completed. The whole thing ran about $15-16. Not bad considering I'll have a private place to sit and read (when the heat lets up).

Facebook & Twitter Tweets12:27 am = I looked you up, I called, we talked, thanks for the 30 minutes and talking without me really having to explain what happened but rather just talked with me about music and making fun of me. I wish I could tell you, however, I made a promise that I wouldn’t and I am good on my promises just like your promises are good with me.
12:45 am = I’m not ready to sleep, however, you inspired me to write more lyrics. I will rest as soon as their penned down. When it’s done, you’ll be the first to here it, refined and well done.
1:00 pm = I see you, I’m walking up behind you.
2:00 pm = Thanks but you really shouldn’t have. I feel guilty for taking all this great stuff. You don’t owe me anything, seriously you don’t, however, know that what you did give me will be treasured and have a good home.
7:00 pm = Saw Bruno. Coolest part: Bono, Chris Martin, Snoop Dog, Slash and Elton John performing a song with Bruno at the end. Elton John singing about anal bleaching = priceless.
11:42 pm = Sometimes I forgot that when I tweet or FB status that it’s just more than my best friend(s) reading. Thank god most of you have 200+ friends and my updates get lost in the shuffle.

12:06 am = Watching Much More Music…Coldplay are defiantly the new/next U2.
12:08 am = This is why I always draft e-mails, save it, and then sleep on it for at least two days before really deciding if I should send it. I’ve sent so many e-mails I just want to take back, especially in the past 3 months.
12:15 am = I really should be sleeping, however, they’re showing a Coldplay concert video on Much More music and I can’t sleep. Man they’re such a fucking great band. *Holds paper butterfly in hand*.
11:50 pm = Just as I was thinking about us and Green Day, They played “21 Guns” on Much, good timing, more than a coincidence. It was the best show ever, this year. You made a huge impact on making it an awesome night. If it wasn’t for that video and remembering our conversation, I’d be in a bad place right now so thank you.
Been playing the WOWs again a lot. I have a 80 holy/shadow dual spec priest (currently 2175 or so bonus healing and 515/317 mp5) and my enhance shaman is also 80, but not nearly as geared as my priest...Mainly because I am a healer, and they are in demand! Its such a fun game, and I love the fact that they didn't try to be realistic. I think that is why I don't like EQII -- because they try to be realistic, and therefore it doesn't mesh well together. Anyways.
We have a puppy! The cats don't particularly care for him, but it makes sense seeing as though they don't get as much attention :> The puppy is a Pomeranian and we named him Geronimo! We thought about "bear" like names, but nothing fit. He's a black and tan and completely adorable, especially when he growls -- he's only 2 lbs!
Just got home from work and sipping on a rum and diet. Thinking of writing a Snape/Hermione fanfic, I have a wee bit of a plot bunny running through my mind...But I've never really written anything like that before so ehhh I don't know.
PS Zero said he'd dress as Snape for me for Halloween ;) I'm so going to be Hermione! Hhaahaha!
PPs Rocky Horror's anniversary is on the 25th. Yays! One year of Rocky!
